With the experience of Gary leading the team, we specialise mainly in new or altered residential or commercial projects. We have been involved in over 1000 building projects over more than 25 years and have been acknowledged by over 90 New Zealand Architectural Design Awards in the process which is testament to the quality that you can expect given to each project.

Gary is a multi-award-winning architect and designer with 30 years' experience of design and project managing the build, interior fit-out and landscaping of inspiring projects predominately in New Zealand. Gary personally leads all projects with the client and controls all projects and the Wanaka Office. Gary promotes respect of our heritage which can be juxtaposed with new minimalist architecture.
Gary designs on a case by case basis to provide site specific solutions that respond to the aspirations of the client to enhance their life and the surrounding environment. Gary seeks to create places in context and in scale that contribute to our well-being now and in the future either by adaptive reuse or new modern architecture.

Krystene started the company with Gary as Gary Todd Design in 1993 which was changed to Gary Todd Architecture in 2009 to better illustrate our change in focus. Krystene is the Office Manager with skills to handle all client accounts, staff administration and staff management for our architectural practice.

Jaime joined Gary Todd Architecture in 2005 and is very experienced with a wide range of skills in preparing resource consent, building consent and contract documentation for all projects. Jaime assists Gary to quality check projects plus mentor staff members in our architectural practice from the Dunedin office.

Courtney joined Gary Todd Architecture in 2017 and has been runnning the Christchurch office for the past 2 years. Courtney was formerly with Athfield Architects for 4 years prior to changing to specialise in Residential Architecture. Courtney is skilled in Revit and 3D BIM modelling, building consent documentation and interior architectural design.

Matthew joined Gary Todd Architecture in 2017 after graduating with a Masters in Architecture from Victoria University. Working from the Dunedin Office, Matthew is skilled in preparing concept design drawings, 3D models, presentation drawings, resource consent and building consent documentation, interior design and construction detailing.
